Set along 10 kilometers of magnificent coastline, El Gouna is one of Egypt’s premier destinations – often referred to as “The Venice of the Red Sea.” Ancient Sands is the most luxurious of El Gouna’s resorts, with a striking all-white color scheme and a sophisticated design that blends the simple lines of contemporary design with the architectural traditions of the desert. The site for Ancient Sands covers 519 acres. Sited at the center of the site, the Hilltop Village and Fairways neighborhoods of resort residences form the heart of the development. Adjacent to the village, an 18,000-square-foot golf clubhouse will serve an 18-hole Karl Litten-designed golf course. The clubhouse forms a major resort hub, with a hotel, banquet space, kids club, restaurants and bars, spa and wellness center. The first phase of construction is nearly complete, and the resort welcomed its first owners in February.
