Description: Must have strong experience and sound working knowledge of coordinating mechanical and electrical systems and their components through construction documents and construction administration phases of projects; preparation of construction documents; in-house quality assurance; and construction administration on large and complex developer projects. Demonstrated experience should include developing and maintaining clear and effective communication between architects and consultants, along with providing solid support to consultants in their use of 3D modeling and integration, and should also include effective supervision of and leadership for teams of architects. Duties: Completes projects by developing concepts; developing sketches; building models; preparing drawings of the structural system; air-conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems; electrical systems; plumbing; and landscaping; developing and monitoring schedules and timetables; obtaining approvals; making adjustments. Supervises construction by obtaining and filing required documents; soliciting and evaluating bids; selecting contractors; negotiating contracts; ensuring adherence to design, schedule, specified materials, and quality work standards; solving design/construction problems. Meets legal requirements by following building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and related ordinances, such as access by disabled persons. Provides project reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. Meets financial requirements by estimating costs; developing budgets; monitoring expenses. Updates job knowledge by maintaining licensure; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor or Master in Architecture  with  3 – 5 years of Architecture experience Professional registration preferred Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines Resolve complex technical and design issues Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships Proven record of managing projects during construction, including contract administration and coordination with contractors Experience and ability to coordinate Civil, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical items with Architectural Drawings.
