La Estrella is being designed as a world-class resort destination and residential community, uniquely poised to take advantage of the dramatic landscapes and rich history of the Cuzco region in the Peruvian Andes.  A dramatic entry gate and security checkpoint will lead to residential villas and multi-unit casitas, as well as a resort hotel with spa, an expansive golf and social club,  an equestrian center, and a full-production winery and tasting venue.  The architectural massing and siting of low-rise structures utilizes the mountainous terrain to not only create unique multi-level spaces, but provide the best vantage points to frame the stunningly beautiful surroundings.  The architectural design is contemporary in nature but greatly influenced by the colors and textures of the surrounding mountains, and by the indigenous building forms found in this region, once inhabited by the Inca civilization.

Once the capital of the Inca empire, Cuzco is now a Unesco World Heritage Site, and one of Peru's most visited cities.
