This expansive resort development is sited along the shores of NanLiHu Lake, a stunning jewel on Hainan Island near the city of Haikou. Encompassing 122 hectares, the master plan utilizes the site’s hilly topography to weave the golf fairways through existing valleys. Residences, lodging and public spaces are sited to capitalize on views of the golf course and lake. Residences range from single-family villas, to townhomes, to apartments in five and six-story buildings.
At the heart of this destination resort lie two hotels – one a traditional hotel with structured guestrooms, and the other a boutique hotel and wellness center, which share an arrival sequence and amenities. The style of the structures within the resort is reminiscent of Balinese and Southeast Asian architecture, but neighborhoods and resort components each have their own character, ranging from a traditional adaptation of this vernacular to a more modern interpretation.
