Santana Row

Santana Row is one of the leading examples of the urban mixed-use project type in the country. The project replaces a 1950s-era suburban shopping mall that formerly occupied the site, exchanging an aging single-story mall with a densely designed, multi-story mixed-use community that incorporates all of its parking needs within the new structures. The heart of the project is the retail main street, highlighted by a median park and lined with ground-floor retail, restaurants and public gathering spaces. SB Architects has designed two central buildings, which line the main street and overlook Santana Row’s median park. This project has received numerous design and development awards.
