SB Architects is committed to creating positive, enduring change through social responsibility and civic engagement in the communities where we live and work. By establishing a network with partner organizations, we can amplify our outreach activities, creating new opportunities to foster relationships with like-minded partners and clients, from the Habitat for Humanity, the City of Hope to the SF-Marin Food Bank.
This past weekend, a team of San Francisco designers volunteered to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. As architects, we create places where people and communities thrive. Our approach is based on the idea that we can make a more significant impact in communities by tapping into our most valuable resource—the skills of our people. Our most significant investments are made through a program where nonprofit projects and events are funded by SB Architects. These programs allow us to not only drive social impact, but also grow our talent by providing leadership, professional skill development, and team building opportunities.
“At SB Architects, we have experienced the importance of volunteering and understand that it helps build skill sets that are critical to developing well-rounded leaders across our organization,” says Teresa Ruiz, Vice President and Associate Principal.
