Robb Report has published its annual Ultimate Gift Guide for 2015, with 23 of the most fabulous gifts you can imagine. First on the list is Leaf Cay, a 35-acre private island in the Bahamas, priced at a cool $175 million. Jointly conceived by Auberge Resorts and SB Architects, and offered for sale by Bahamas-based real estate brokerage Cross and Moske, Leaf Cay is envisioned as a five villa private resort on a private island once owned by actor Nicolas Cage. Custom-designed by SB Architects, the resort will be developed and managed by Auberge Resorts Collection.
Sited just south of Exuma Sound, Leaf Cay is long and narrow, meaning a vast proportion of its acreage is made up of shoreline, with three perfect white sand beaches. Although the resort will be custom-designed to fit the owner’s vision, the initial concept includes an 8,000-square-foot main house, four guest villas ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 square feet scattered across the island, and a whole host of amenities, including several pools, a pool house, spa, fitness center and yoga pavilion, dock and marina, an observation tower, children’s tree-house club, and a helipad.
